(More customer reviews)Had high hopes this electric wall mounted fireplace would suit my needs in a remodeled room, however it did not. The fireplace is quite heavy and needs to be well secured to the wall in a number of places, including 2 studs. The mounting hardware is terribly cheap, as I inserted the drywall anchors into the wall and began to screw them in, the tip consistently broke off each one, leaving me with no anchors that were functional. I also must admit that online the flame looks like it's embedded in the sand BUT the sand is quite clearly fabric, like a nylon/polyester blend, it was VERY disappointing to find out it wasn't actually sand. I returned this fireplace due to the poor mounting hardware that proved to be quite poorly matched to the installation requirements.
