(More customer reviews)Dimplex CFP3652C 20"Cherry Electric Fireplace looks awesome. The flame is way to dark and there is no controls to make it brighter. The heat it puts out is ok for a small space. Thats all it really is, is a space heater in a fireplace cabinet. The other problem with the Fireplace is it is noisy and can get on ones nerves. The motor in the back makes all kinds of noise after about the 2nd week of use. For the price i paid for this i could have gotten a pellet stove and been much happier. It cost about $40 a mouth to run and that is not savings when you can get a pellet stove for around the same price and save a ton of money and have a real fire place at the same time. Again its nice just priced way to high.

(More customer reviews)It is beautiful and feels like real brick, as well as looks like real brick but it does need a hearth under it so that the heat can generate higher and it will look really real. It was delivered undamaged except for a ring mark on the granite mantel which looks like someone put a cup or glass on. I haven't tried to get it out but I am sure it will buff out. I love it regardless of the little things I want to do with it.

Overall I'm happy with the purchase but the company sent me the incorrect bottom piece. I haven't taken the time out yet to contact them about getting the correct bottom piece.

Keeps any room very warm you can turn your heat down to 64 and with this on you won't notice you did. In a smaller room like a bedroom you actually will have to turn the unit down a bit or open the door because it will get hot in there. How much you save on gas vs. electricity I don't know but it looks great with the log and flames. The cabinet came in pieces unfortunatly but when I put it together it was solid. It sits with much more expensive furniture and nobody would know it came in a box. Takes about an hour to assemble, not at all difficult but if you don't like assembling these sort of things keep that in mind.

(More customer reviews)Sadly, my fireplace was shipped without a piece, the bracket to hold the glass panel in. The panel still fits snug, and until I get the piece from Customer Service, it seems to stay in place fine anyway. The flame effect is surprisingly,very good. I did not expect it to be as life-like as it turns out. The heater is very quiet, and actually warms both my living room and dining room, an area approximately 30 x 15, to a comfortable degree. I agree with the poster above that a separate setting for the thermostat and flame would have been great. Also, since it is RF, it doesn't work with my Harmony One remote, but the remote is small and only has an "on" and an "off" button. One strange thing, I looked on the Dimplex site, and can not find this model. Even if it was a closeout, shouldn't they still list the model?
